At the time of internet browsing, all items you view are saved on computer hard drive and this helps further when you view the site again to load faster from hard drive instant downloading the file from the web page again. Sometime you may need to clear the browsing history for private reason. Below it is discussed how to delete browser history in different web browser.

1. Misrosoft Internet Explorer

2. Google Chorme

3. Mozilla Firefox

4. Opera

Microsoft Internet Explorer:

Internet Explorer 7 and above user can get easy access to options such as file, view, tools, etc.  by pressing Alt key.

Viewing Browser History:

• Internet Explorer 6.x, Internet Explorer 7 and above user can view history files by clicking the Tools => Internet options and go to setting the by clicking view files.

Deleting Browser History:

• To delete internet browser history, press Ctrl+Shift+Del and the clear the history.

or

• Internet Explorer 6 and above user can delete browser history files by going to Tools => Internet Options => Delete File. User also can delete browser history automatically by going Security tab => Advanced => Empty temporary internet files and folder when browser closed.

Google Chrome:

Viewing Browser History:

• To open the left side bar, press Ctel+H.

• Click “wrench” icon which is located top right side of the browser and then click History.

Deleting Browser History:

• To open the clear browser data window, press Ctrl+Shift+Del.

Or,

• Click “wrench” icon located top right corner of your browser, go to Tools => Clear Browsing Data… => select the time period you want to delete browsing history. Here you can delete the past hour, the past day, the past week, the last four week, and beginning of the time. Also you have option to delete history type like clear browsing history, clear download history, delete cookies and other site and plug-in data, empty the cache, clear saved passwords, and clear saved autofill from data. Then clear browsing data button and it will clear all selected type of browsing history in selected time period.

Mozilla Firefox:

Viewing Browser History:

• To open the left-side history bar, press Ctrl+H.

Or

• Click history on top of the window.

Or

• Earlier version of Mozilla Firefox user can view history by clicking Go => History.

Deleting Browser History:

• To open the Clear All history window, press Ctrl+Shift+Del.

Or

• User can clear all browser history by going Tools => Options => Privacy => History then click clear button.

Opera:

Viewing Browser History:

• Click help => about on opera browser. You will see where cached file are stored.

Deleting Browsing History:

To delete browser history, go to File => Preferences => History => Empty now. Click Empty now Button and all browser history will be deleted.
